PESTNETWORK provides annual training workshop throughout New Zealand for Pest Management Technicians. These are always on important topics and are conducted in a professional way. There is plenty of time for questions and an assessment of attendees after each speaker. The attendees are asked what topics they would like to hear about the following year and also provide feedback on the quality of the presentations, content and the presenter. In this way PESTNETWORK is always improving the subject matter and the delivery of the training and train in the subjects most asked for by attendees.
PESTNETWORK encourages Member companies of the group to offer specialist training in some areas. These are normally one day courses on a particular subject. Cleaning Systems run a number of such courses and details may be found on their website (see our 'Home Page'). Pacific International's Training Division has conducted a number of courses throughout New Zealand on Bedbug Inspection Procedures and Treatments. In 2008 about one quarter of the Pest Management Industry had completed this course. The course is in line with the PMANZ Bedbug Code of Practice.
